Description of senior credit expert

Performing in-depth financial, credit, and risk analyses of SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) clients,

Preparing and presenting recommendations for credit approval decisions,

Identifying business opportunities and risk-mitigation strategies within the client portfolio,

Close cooperation with sales, operations, and management to support strategic decision-making,

Managing communication and negotiation with insurance companies and external partners,

Monitoring portfolio quality and proactively identifying early-warning signals,

Driving improvements in risk-assessment processes, including the evaluation and implementation of innovative technologies and data sources.

Job requirements

Education and experience

University degree (Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management or related field preferred),

3+ years of relevant work experience in credit risk, financial analysis, underwriting, or a similar role.

English language – B2/C1 level,

Polish – native level

Hard skills

Solid understanding of fraud, credit risk principles, and B2B business models.

Good knowledge of financial statements, cash flow dynamics, and credit products.

 

Soft skills

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills combined with a risk-oriented mindset.

Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration across departments.

Positive attitude towards work.
